Stephen King. 11/22/63 Review

Would you recommend this book?

Definitely. It is a great read.

What did you like best about this book?

Knowing one thing was going to happen, desperately wanting another result.

What did you like least about this book?

The inevitability of the conclusion of the struggle. (Love/hate relationship here.)

If you were making a movie of this book, who would you cast?

Will Smith. He has such a strong acting ability to portray the emotional roller-coaster the main character experiences.

What other books by this author have you read? How did they compare to this book?

I have read quite a few of Stephen King books. Whilst he works primarily in a fantasy genre, they are all so different. How can I compare 11/22/63 to IT, to The Dark Tower, to Mr Mercedes, to any of his novels?

Which character in the book would you most like to meet?

The yellow card man.

What do you think of the book’s title?

11/22/63. Brilliant. Most older people will know what happened on that day. Most younger readers will look it up.

If you could hear this same story from another person’s point of view, who would you choose?

Sadie Dunhill – his love interest.

If you were to write fanfic about this book, what kind of story would you want to tell?

I would want to write an epilogue revealing a tiny glimpse of the possibility that things may not be as they seem. I would reveal a possibility that the main character might not just accept the conclusion.
